Sara represents parties in litigation involving the various real estate and contract disputes, including construction defects as well as collection cases. She also handles complaints to the Maryland Office of the Attorney General and the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights. She has extensive experience in title review.

Sara is a native of Baltimore, graduating from Loyola College of Baltimore and University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Upon graduation from law school she clerked for the Hon. Marvin H. Smith of the Maryland Court of Appeals. She then joined the Annapolis firm of Manis, Wilkinson, Snider, and Goldsborough where she worked for twelve years and later practiced with the firm of Hyatt, Peters and Weber for just over twelve years.

Sara is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA). She is currently the Treasurer of the MSBA. Her other involvement in the MSBA includes Chair of the Real Property Section and Budget & Finance Committee of the MSBA. She also is a fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation and a member of its Board of Directors.

Sara is an active member of the Anne Arundel Bar Association chairing various committees over the years including President in 1995-1996.

Currently, she is co-counsel to the Board of License Commissioners for Anne Arundel County where she had served as the first woman Commissioner in 2002-2003.
